In recent years, not only have they traveled to more than 30 cities in the United States, they have also been performing and teaching in China, Portugal, Brazil, and Taiwan. Currently, they are both faculty members of VanderCook College of Music in Chicago. The duo founded the Yang and Olivia Foundation, advocating diversity, equity, and inclusion through music of different cultures. The foundation’s achievements are recognized by grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, MidAtlantic Arts, and Illinois Arts Council Agency.

This concert will also feature fine art by Iowa artist, Jess Quinn.

Jess Quinn, a Waterloo, Iowa native and former public school art teacher, transitioned to a full-time art career in 2014. Centered around her love for flowers, she captures frozen moments of blooms on large canvases using oil paint, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the vibrant world of botanical beauty. Inspired by the captivating allure of botanicals, Jess combines mesmerizing lines and flowing movements to create intimate and captivating oil paintings. Through her artwork, she offers viewers a fresh perspective on the natural world, inviting them to see its beauty through her eyes. Jess can be found in art studio #200 at Mainframe Studios, where she paints and teaches daily
